About RODGERS
Hello! I’m Rodgers Birungi, a 5th-year MBChB medical student at King Ceasor University in Kampala, Uganda.
I’m passionate about science, medical education, and helping students develop a strong understanding of what they study. Through my medical training, I have built a strong foundation in Anatomy, Human Physiology, Biology, and Pathophysiology.
I believe good teaching is not about giving students more information to memorize. It is about helping them understand concepts clearly, see how different ideas connect, and develop the confidence to think through problems for themselves.
I’m a patient and approachable tutor who welcomes questions and understands that students learn at different speeds and in different ways. I enjoy taking topics that initially seem complicated and making them easier to understand.
Whether you are building your foundation in science, preparing for an examination, or studying biomedical subjects at university or medical school, I aim to make learning clear, meaningful, and less overwhelming.
My goal is simple: to help you understand what you are learning and become a more confident, independent learner.

Each lesson is built around what you need to achieve.
At the beginning of a session, we will identify the topic you want to work on, what you already understand, and the areas where you are having difficulty. This helps us use the lesson time effectively rather than covering material you already know.
During the lesson, we will work through the topic together. I will explain the key ideas step by step, pause regularly to check your understanding, and give you opportunities to ask questions and explain concepts in your own words. Where useful, we can work through diagrams, examples, practice questions, clinical applications, or examination-style questions.
Lessons can be used for:
- Understanding a difficult topic
- Preparing for an upcoming examination
- Reviewing material from class
- Working through practice questions
- Strengthening weak areas
- Building a stronger foundation in a subject
- Connecting basic science concepts with clinical medicine
At the end of each session, we will review the main points and identify what you should focus on next.
All lessons are delivered online, one-on-one, and are adapted to your level, goals, and pace. My aim is for you to leave each session knowing not only what the answer is, but why it is the answer and how to apply what you have learned.
