About Lydia
I graduated with highest honors from the University of Virginia, USA, where I studied International Relations and French language. I am an accredited teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and have several years of experience tutoring students in English. I currently work as an English teacher to middle and high school students.

I will work with you as an individual student to build a course tailored to your needs. As an American who has studied several foreign languages (including French), I understand the challenges of foreign language learning and will use concrete, practical examples to make language learning fun and easy. I have experience teaching all levels of English to French students, and know that each student needs a slightly different approach. I incorporate real-life examples of English (songs, news articles, social media, etc.) into all levels of my teaching, as I believe in having authentic contact with the language. I will correct students' grammar, spelling, vocabulary and fluency and work with students at their level to improve all aspects of their English performance.
