About Paulina
Paulina is a Latina immigrant, actor, and coach with a degree in Acting from the University of Florida and professional experience in Miami and Gainesville equity theater, as well as film and major events like the Super Bowl halftime show. She loves helping students find their voice, build confidence, and connect deeply with their work.
Her teaching blends techniques from David Mamet, Uta Hagen, and Stanislavski with a hands-on, goal-focused approach. Every lesson is tailored to the student—whether it’s audition prep, musical theater, or exploring new performance skills—mixing text analysis, character work, and fun rehearsals. Lessons can also be conducted in Spanish if needed.
Paulina’s students leave her lessons feeling prepared, inspired, and excited to perform, with tools to grow both on stage and on screen.

Paulina’s approach as an acting tutor is personalized, goal-oriented, and hands-on. Each lesson begins with a conversation to identify the student’s goals, whether it’s audition preparation, improving technique, or college application readiness.
She selects material tailored to the student’s level and aspirations and guides them through text analysis focused on objectives, intentions, and emotional truth. Lessons incorporate rehearsals that refine character nuances, stage presence, and performance choices, helping students connect deeply with their work.
Paulina draws on techniques from David Mamet, Uta Hagen, and Stanislavski, combining professional training with practical experience from running an after-school children’s program. This creates lessons that are structured, insightful, and creatively empowering.
Her lessons are for actors and artists of all ages and levels, from beginners exploring the craft to advanced performers preparing for auditions, conservatories, or college programs. The focus is on building confidence, understanding character, and cultivating authentic, compelling performances.
