About Tyreke
I am an actor, artist and 2025 Black British Theatre Award nominee, and 2024 Ian Charlson Award nominee who recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (2022), and have since performed in productions with the National Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe and the Royal Shakespeare Company. I have worked alongside some phenomenal and world-renowned actors, directors and creatives, and have also created my own work for/with the Royal Court Theatre. Prior to my training at Guildhall, I was studying Theatre and A-Level English Literature at the BRIT School, as well as attended and made homes in lots of young companies and professional theatres. I consequently have made and currently make my own work (writing & acting), support work, deliver workshops and sessions, and have links & connections with, the Royal Court Theatre, the RSC, Globe, National Theatre, NYT, Theatre Peckham, the Almeida, Trybe House Theatre and many more. I consider myself an artist over an actor, as I believe it is important to be well rounded and versed in all aspects within this industry and profession, in turn enhancing the singular acting muscles and flexors. I have therefore gathered, attributed, concentrated, and worked to be able to develop my own practices and methods, in order to share, play and create with like minded individuals - and have always found myself doing this even before I could label it or knew what it was I doing! I am therefore passionate about meeting new artists, and offering the things I have learnt throughout my plethora of learning and experience gaining, in the hope to inspire and help support anyone who needs it - in whatever capacity! Oh- I also love poetry and spoken word and thought to include this here because... well, who doesn't?

Having trained professionally at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama under, around, alongside, and after, some world-class and revolutionary theatre-makers and actors in the industry, I am developing a practice and direction that focuses on truth, connection, and self, and how these components can fold and layer with simplicity, underneath and inside of ANY text. These sessions are typically for actors who wish to train at drama school and would like some support, direction, advice, as well as actors hoping to get further into the industry - and FOR THOSE WHO JUST SIMPLY WANT TO PLAY, LOOSEN THE LIMBS AGAIN AND COME BACK TO THEMSELVES OR DIG DEEPER INTO THEIR CRAFT!!
I can't say if these sessions will make you a better actor, but they will inspire and allow each passionate student/actors' innate sense of play and presence to shine whenever and in whichever room you are called in to, thus making you a more wholesome artist. The sessions will last an hour, and will explore the ideas of play, keeping monologues/text fresh and alive, sharpening up the ability to simply respond and be true, as well as discover how to be yourself in any and every room you walk in to. I regularly do this type of work with BRIT School students (having trained there before Guildhall), as well as the RSC, and other family, friends, and friends-of-friends - resulting in numerous amounts of people getting in to top drama schools, and/or signing with great agents and getting one step closer to the industry. I love this kind of work and love building a network of actors & artists. I also just love to play!

Deadly! Excellent session. Really helped with my self tape, broke down the monologue piece by piece and really felt by the end of the session I had improved as an actor
- Andre was great and made real improvement in his work! Still needs to find more drive and targetting the other person, as well as finding most efficient breaths. Otherwise great!Tyreke's response :

Tyreke is an insanely successful and brilliant actor with invaluable experience in being in plays at the Globe Theatre, with the RSC, National Theatre and Royal Court to name a few. He is always inspiring me to take risks, and I would 100 percent recommend him to anyone wanting acting coaching.
Tyreke’s advice, guidance, and direction has truly been priceless to my journey as an actor. I am incredibly appreciative of him when helping me with with self tapes, for example, where he would push me to be more fearless, have fun with the text, and be more relaxed in front of the camera, which all in all allowed me deliver a more natural, honest and enjoyable performance. I would highly suggest him to every actor who wants to improve on their technique, get rid of their old habits which are holding them back from being more responsive in a scene, and lastly, become more playful.
Thank you so much Tyreke! He explains very well and makes sure to push you to the best of your capabilities so you can be the best actor you can
Tyreke is a trustworthy tutor because he is very supportive, he listens really well and tries to help as best he can with his own individual knowledge. He has a passion and a hunger for this field of work which is really inspiring to witness. He is kind, open, talented and a rare gem, one you don’t come across often in this creative world.
Tyreke is a welcoming, fun and amazing teacher (and now lovely friend!) He helped with my drama school auditions massively, instilling such confidence and such a different approach and idea towards auditions and acting. Would recommend!
