About Kiya
Hiya, my name is Kiya! I am a working actor who recently graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I bring current, real-world industry experience into my teaching.
I believe this can help students gain an honest, practical understanding of the acting profession. Alongside my acting training, I am a classically trained singer with over ten years of vocal experience. I have skills in stage combat, which inform my physical awareness as a performer. This skill set allows me to support students in developing both their physical and vocal confidence in a structured way.
Navigating the industry myself, I am familiar with the process of building a career, including headshots, CVs, cover letters, and audition preparation. I'm able to guide students through these essential steps, helping them feel prepared as they move forward. I pride myself on creating a supportive learning environment. Whether you are exploring acting for the first time or seeking structured guidance at the start of your training, I can help you build confidence and provide practical insight into the industry.
