About Jennifer

Jen Jarackas has been a Mentor & Acting Coach in the acting community for nearly 15 years, working with students and coaching clients In-Person & via Zoom in FL, NYC, Los Angeles, Atlanta, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Ricci Mann planted initial seeds with acting technique & improv in 1994-95; Her extensive training & assistantships since 1998 with the late Yvonne Suhor (Art's Sake Studio) & Master NYC Teacher & Mentor, the late Jim Bonney (Jim Bonney Acting Studio), since 2000, laid a strong foundation for her leading edge training approach for actors & performers in the Entertainment Industry. Jen's Acting Credits include: *Award-Winning Tim Burton’s #1 box-office film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children *Award-Winning series Mad Men *her portrayal of Aileen Wuornos in TLC’s Angel of Death: Aileen Wuornos *as well as several indie films, short films, and stage credits in NYC, LA & Central Florida, including her favorites: Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, April in Shanley's Savage in Limbo, and 'Woman' in Rhea MacCallum's Exceeding the Purchasable Calories (Play de Luna 2018, Best Actress Nominee). Essentially ACTING is about "Learning the Story and Living the Lines". To tell the story Truthfully. Acting is Living, Behaving, & Being -- not "acting". Jen's CRAFT TOOLS Approach to Acting Training and Creative Development gives you necessary Technique, while guiding you to bring your Vulnerability to the characters and storytelling. Jen has been incorporating her continuing college studies in psychology, mental and behavioral health, as well as her ongoing experiences as a working actor in film, television, and commercials -- further coloring her approach with even more specificity and added depth to that foundation. Her approach provides necessary tools to stand out in your Craft, especially if your Goal-Dream-Intention-Vision is to "go the distance" in the biz.
