Incoming university student. CREST Awardee, UKMT Junior Maths Challenge Bronze winner and former Head Boy at Robert Clack School. Debate and Prefect mentor. - Open to mentoring A Level Maths, GCSE Maths and GCSE Physics.
- I prefer to teach using PowerPoints and practice questions, to really engage the student whilst maximizing the amount of active recall they get, as these two factors are the most important when wanting to exceed in your exams. I prefer to teach content first before testing through practice questions, which I compile before a lesson, taking into account the student's performance.
- Prefer to teach for 1.5 hours each lesson, however, I am more than open to student preferences.
- Previous experience includes being a debate mentor at my local school, where I was able to reinforce teamwork and interpersonal skills by mentoring peers on their debating skills, leading seminars and assisting to judge in debates. Additionally, being a prefect allowed me to assist students about issues they had regarding the school, as well as mentored students with their reading, maths and science skills fortnightly.
