About Alekhya
Hello! I am Alekhya, a dedicated and passionate tutor with a strong background in education and experienced in helping students achieve their academic goals. I have achieved 10 GCSEs all grades 9-8 and achieved 3 As studying Biology, Chemistry and Geography at A Level. Furthermore, I am an undergraduate student studying Medicine at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. I enjoy reading about strategies for enhancing productivity and exploring my passion for science and I believe that helping students is a very rewarding role and being able to provide them with study techniques, not only for GCSEs but for life-long academia and further studies. In my free time I enjoy playing badminton, spending time with my family and friends and reading- all of which make me a better student and teacher in different ways. I am here to guide you every step of the way so together lets unlock your full potential!

I apply a student- centred apprach to my tutoring and ensure to focus on a personalised learning experienced best suited to my student's ability, strengths and weaknesses. I use a variety of techniques including using real life application, past paper questions and examples to supplement their understanding using diagrams and analogies. Typically, lessons are one hour long, providing ample time to cover material thoroughly while keeping the student engaged. With a background in education and several years of tutoring experience across different subjects and age groups, I tailor my lessons to meet the needs of each student- specifically available to teach high school students biology and chemistry GCSE level.
