About Nancy
I have been tutoring since before I became a teacher (I’ve been teaching 7 years now). I have always been very confident in using my skills to bridge the gap where some teachers may not have enough time to be able to dive into different methods. I have been able to home school a 3rd grade student virtually from another country, home school a 6th grade student pre-covid, and tutor math levels up to Algebra 1.

With a background in special education, I am familiar with a variety of methods and “hacks” to try and make tricky concepts easier to digest! I am comfortable, and used to, teaching the same topic a several ways to find an appropriate way for each individual student to master the concept.
