About Zachary

I am a professional touring and recording guitarist. Teaching privately and in colleges for over 30 years. I have built my own studio and have spent 15 years working as the electric guitarist with The Proclaimers.

About the lesson

Your enjoyment and enthusiasm is the basis of my teaching. You can’t learn unless you want to. We start with music you love and through this introduce the theory and techniques that enable you to play it well

Deadly! I have spent many years on and off trying to teach myself the guitar and life has got in the way so I decided to look into a tutor and cannot rate Zac highly enough, what a find! He really is a true pro at what he does and even put to rest my fear of feeling stupid..(although I’m sure this still happens) I really cannot rate this man enough! Im so looking forward to growing my knowledge and experience with Zac.

Deadly! I have spent many years on and off trying to teach myself the guitar and life has got in the way so I decided to look into a tutor and cannot rate Zac highly enough, what a find! He’s not just a player, he’s a songwriter too so you will get that added level of insight if that is something you are seeking. I have known Zac since we were teenagers and In later life he taught me guitar - something for which I shall always be grateful. You can expect really enjoyable lessons, tailored to you and to progress your ability whatever level you’re at.
