About Noor-ul-huda
I am a graduating Anatomy BSc (Hons) student from the University of Glasgow and intend to start my MSc in Osteoarchaeology at the University of Aberdeen this coming September. I am passionate about biology and public engagement, ensuring that the sciences are accessible to all. I have had experience in organising educational events for children as well as adults, and am therefore confident in my ability to work with a variety of different age groups and tailor my teaching on an individual level.
Initially, I struggled with Biology while at school but I took the time to adapt my learning and it eventually became my strongest subject. I feel very confident that I can help students who may be struggling as I did and help them to be successful in developing their understanding of biology.

I work with students to determine how they learn best. As biology involves a lot of understanding and memorisation I prioritise active recall and breaking down dense topics into easy to process sections. Lessons are a minimum of one hour and I am happy to have multiple sessions a week if needed.
Throughout my time at university I have been involved in many public engagement events and am proficient in effectively communicating scientific information to those who may be unfamiliar with the concepts or new to the field.
I can support university-level medical, anatomy, and biological sciences students throughout their learning. I am also confident in my ability to support school students from early secondary to exam years (National 5 and Higher).
