About Julien

Hi! I'm Julien, a professional animator and director based in London, with over 10 years of industry experience. I'm a graduate of two of France's most prestigious animation schools: GOBELINS (CRFA) and SUPINFOCOM.

I co-founded Bebop Studio, an animation studio specialising in ads, music videos, and short films. I've worked across 2D animation, character design, and visual development for a wide range of clients like Netflix, HBO, Disney +, Toei etc.

About the lesson

WHAT I TEACH
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

• 2D Animation — principles of animation, timing & spacing, walk cycles, acting, lip sync
• Character Design — ideation, silhouette, style consistency, turnarounds, expression sheets
• Portfolio development — building a professional reel that gets you hired
• Industry workflow — working to briefs, client feedback, file delivery

WHO THIS IS FOR
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

My lessons are best suited for:
• Junior animators looking to break into the industry
• Mid-level artists who want to level up their portfolio
• Freelancers who want to attract better clients

I adapt every lesson to your current level, your goals, and the type of projects you want to work on.

HOW IT WORKS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Sessions are held online (Zoom or Google Meet), 1-on-1, with screen sharing and live feedback. We can review your existing work, tackle specific techniques, or build a structured plan together.

Feel free to send me a message before booking, I'm happy to discuss your goals and see if we're a good fit.

Let's build something portfolio-worthy together.
