About Sam
I graduated from Brighton Grammar School in Melbourne at the end of 2017 and achieved an ATAR of 97.30 studying 5 subjects: English, Mathematical Methods, Mathematical Specialist, Physics and Latin. I am currently a 2nd year student at the Australian National University completing a double degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of International Security Studies. I have more than 3 years of progressive tutoring experience for a range of students and subjects, including high school mathematics, English and Latin. Students who have undertaken my lessons have seen an exponential rise in test results and exams passed. I also have a multitude of work experience apart from tutoring. Currently, I am an active part-time serving member of the Australian Army.

Throughout my extensive experience in tutoring, I have realised that every student has the capability to reach their full academic potential when they are taught concepts in a manner that they can understand. Explaining ideas in a clear and methodological way is vital, not only enabling the student to have a better grasp of the concept, but also to replicate it in a way that allows them to solve other problems.
I am friendly, amicable and approachable. I will be delighted to help students out with homework, schoolwork and prepare for assessments etc. I can also provide study materials as well as general study advise!

Tutoring is $20 per hour anywhere on ANU campus. For private home lessons, the travel costs are $1 per kilometre from ANU, using the fastest route on Google Maps. First free lesson applicable on ANU campus only.
