About Chiara
I have tutored students of various ages before, rom younger (middle school students) to high school diploma students. I am familiar with pre-college diplomas as well, such as the International Baccalaureate. Since I study in an interdisciplinary field, I have been able to provide additional help in subjects such as Math and Psychology alongside Biology. I have completed courses in several kinds of biology, so can help in whichever area is needed!

I like to tailor my lessons to the student, and am flexible in this regard. I am a fan of problem-based teaching, where I not only teach theory to students but also work out problems and think about situations with them. Since biology involves a lot of memorisation, I like to use different techniques to describe processes that help visualise them, to improve understanding and recall for the student. Since I have studied in several countries, I have been able to learn several approaches to teaching and learning which I try to apply in my lessons.
