About Dale
I have a longstanding interest in Middle Eastern affairs and have been studying Arabic for over twenty years. I have spent time in the Middle East including a summer school at the University of Qatar (Doha). My other languages are Russian and Greek.

I have both studied and taught Modern Standard Arabic at University level. I am proficient in both writing and grammar. I am now seeking to teach Arabic to raw beginners, starting with a simple conversational format utilising Western script for immediate comprehension of the language and allowing the complexities of grammar and writing to gradually unfold. In this way the student can immediately begin using the language. As knowledge of the language develops I would like to incorporate street Arabic (specifically Palestinian dialect) into the lessons.
