About Diya

Hi! I’m Diya, a Wilfrid Laurier University graduate with a friendly and structured approach to teaching. I’m familiar with the ICSE/CBSE curriculum and exam style, and I can help students prepare for their Class 10 and 12 Board Exams, strengthen their concepts, and improve their exam-writing skills. My teaching style is patient, interactive, and tailored to each student’s learning pace. My goal is to make learning easier while helping students feel confident and well-prepared for their exams.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is personalized, interactive, and focused on helping students genuinely understand what they’re learning. I first take the time to understand each student’s goals, learning style, and areas they may find challenging, and then adapt my lessons accordingly.

I like to keep my classes comfortable and engaging, using clear explanations, practical examples, discussions, and practice exercises. I usually begin with a quick review, introduce the topic step-by-step, practise together, and leave time for questions and feedback.

The first class is free, and I use it as an opportunity to get to know the student, understand their goals and expectations, and let them experience my teaching style. I believe this helps both the student and me decide whether we’re a good fit before continuing with regular lessons.

My goal is always to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence at their own pace.
