About Joon Hee
Hello students, it is a privilege for me to teach you and I hope at the end of our sessions, you feel the same way about learning from me. I graduated from Villanova University with a degree in mathematics and am currently pursuing a career in finance. I have a passion for serving my community and I know mathematics can be a difficult subject. I was just like you, putting in the time and effort by going to private tutors and an after school program just for mathematics. I even spent my summers going to SAT school during the mornings. I know what it's like to be in your shoes and I promise to make this experience as fun as possible and to be respectful. I look forward to speaking with you soon!

My lessons typically try to adhere to the curriculum of the course that is provided at the student's school, but I am also flexible in teaching advanced level classes and have plenty of book recommendations and resources. I will go over what I believe is important as well as anything the school may require.
My method of teaching mathematics is like breaking a finished puzzle, and putting it back together. We will be breaking down problems to their simplest pieces, learning the language and the rules to putting the pieces together, and then going over how to put it together again. Then finally, practice practice practice.
I am comfortable teaching from basic mathematics to high school level calculus courses.
