As a student living with ADHD, I understand everyone learns differently, so I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals. I focus on breaking complex concepts into simple and relatable explanations and encouraging active participation through questions and real-life examples. I also incorporate visual aids, practice problems, and study strategies to help students build confidence and retain knowledge.
Warm-Up: Quick review of previous material or a short quiz to refresh memory.
Concept Breakdown: Step-by-step explanation of the day’s topic, using examples tailored to the student’s learning style.
Guided Practice: Solve problems together while discussing strategies.
Independent Practice: Student applies what they’ve learned with my support.
Wrap-up: Review key points and areas we need to work on.
