About Aitana
I am a rising junior at New York University, majoring in Psychology and Anthropology on the Pre-Medicine track. Over the past three years, I have dedicated myself to tutoring -- particularly in English as a Second Language -- and mentoring high school students to develop effective and maintainable study habits and academic confidence. I am deeply passionate about supporting youth in reaching their full potential and committed to ensuring that every student receives the guidance and support they need to thrive.

My teaching method is very hands-on. I will make worksheets tailored to your child's needs to ensure that we get the most out of each lesson. I will start off with a quick warm-up which could entail a video, testing what we learned in the last session, or asking if there was any confusions or doubts from the previous lesson. I will then give a short powerpoint on what we will be focusing on during the lesson, including sample problems, and important rules of thumb. Lastly, we will then go onto to work onto worksheets, I will give the student 10-15 min to work through the first section and then we will check over their work and answer any and all questions.
These lessons are for Middle School to High School students struggling with Algebra, Pre-calculus Calculus, English (including essay writing and reading comprehension) and Spanish (Level 1-Level 3).
