About Tegan
I am a Primary School teacher (8 years in this amazing profession) and currently teaching in Australia after returning home from London (also teaching). I have been tutoring 1-2-1 and small group interventions for 3 years now and have recently found the love of tutoring online during my experience overseas through the pandemic. My lessons are tailored to each student and/or group and very user friendly for all at home devices and software.

My teaching philosophy is based on the wholeness of my student(s). I incorporate breathing/movement breaks to facilitate optimal amounts of focus and concentration. My lessons are structured through learning intentions and success criteria's that are presented at the beginning of each session so the student(s) are prepared for the lesson objectives. Afterwards we warm up with an interactive game to stimulate excitement that lasts the session and usually a revision from the previous lesson (45mins/1hour). After our core concepts taught we will warm down with a consolidation which is usually in a fun quiz in order for me to conduct a weekly post assessment the build my parents reports.
