About Big
Hello! I'm Martin, an award-winning math educator with nearly a decade of experience helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Throughout my teaching career, I've worked with learners of all ability levels and was honored to be recognized as Teacher of the Year for creating an engaging, supportive classroom where students felt challenged and encouraged.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing the moment when something finally "clicks." I believe every student is capable of succeeding when concepts are explained in a way that matches how they learn. My lessons focus on understanding rather than memorization, helping students become confident, independent problem solvers.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy designing hands-on STEM projects that connect mathematics with engineering, architecture, and real-world problem solving. I'm currently building Future Builder Academy, where students explore math through exciting design challenges like creating tiny houses and solving authentic engineering problems.
