I believe practice makes perfect, especially for the younger generation. Initially, I like to work through problems with students, explaining my logic and reasoning to them, as a way of instilling it. Eventually, I believe children should work through it on their own, and only at the end should we review together. Before pointing out right from wrong to them, I like to ask them why they picked a certain answer choice, and more often than not, they are able to recognize the mistakes they've made before I am able to point it out myself.
I love working with children because they are quick learns and great at adapting. My past experience in tutoring has taught me how to connect with students on an individual level, because every single learner is different in their own way. There is no set way to study correctly and I believe I am able to recognize that, and modify my teaching based on who the learner is.
I work best with children ages 4-12, as that is the group I primarily have experience with, however I am open to expanding past that in order to meet your needs.
