About Tabitha
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota majoring in Neuroscience. I also work at a couple different research labs (one clinical and one wet lab) that relate to brain injury/concussion research and genomics research, respectively. I have been giving tutor lessons for 2 years now and have taught 10+ students one on one. I love to tutor and help my students out in areas they are struggling in, especially those in younger age groups! I always like to say that I'm a kid at heart, so I really love connecting with my younger students.
I have also tutored in mathematics, as this has also been a strong subject of mine!
Outside of academics, I love to sing! I am a singer in the Indian Bollywood Music Industry. I would love to continue pursuing an additional, part-time, online tutoring job because I really enjoy it!

I give lessons to students K-12, but can work around this as well! I'd prefer tutoring students in these grade ranges, but can adjust to tutor college-level students! The more the merrier, for me! I like to base my teaching style and lesson structure in a very interactive manner. Using interactive interfaces that allow for students to write on a whiteboard and speak in a microphone really appeal to me. I love using interactive PowerPoint presentations to keep students engaged and to keep things fun and informative!
I also like to put together worksheets and "homework" that my students can complete for the next time we set up a tutor session to help make sure their understanding of a certain concept is solidified before a big test, for example.
