About Anna
Hello (: My name is Anna, and I am a recent graduate from UCSD with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology. I am currently taking a gap year from graduate school and I am excited to teach students biology in this time. Biology can be hard and intimidating, however as a recent grad I believe my lessons bring a fun, new, and creative approach to mastering these complicated topics. I have both clinical and research experience in biology so I am also happy to talk about different career paths in biology.

Greetings, I am a neurobiology graduate from UCSD excited to help you excel in the broad field of biology. My teaching style focuses on concept and theory overview, with an emphasis on problem solving. Biology is much more complex and intricate than simple memorizing, therefore practice problems are necessary for success in the subject. As someone who has already finished their degree and worked in the field of biology as an assistant researcher, I have advanced knowledge of difficult and complex biological systems. A typical lesson plan from me includes: -2 hours-3 hours a week depending on how much help you desire -A compilation of concept overview from textbooks as well as visual learning from pictures and videos -Last 30-40 minutes are dedicated to working through problem sets My lessons are for either high school or undergraduate students who are struggling in biological topics.
