About Esther

I have a huge amount of experience working with actors of all ages. I run acting masterclasses, confidence workshops and run a workshop at Acting For Screen in Birmingham. I founded and ran a drama school, Dramaworkshop, for 10 years, which still runs under 2 Dramaworkshop alumni. I worked with students who won major roles in Line Of Duty, Raised By Wolves and Doctors, to name a few. I also worked with students who won roles at top drama schools.
I have directed several plays and am also a screenwriter/playwright (with 3 TV shows and a film in development with production companies) so have a really good understanding of script.
I have performed at the RSC, Edinburgh Fringe and in numerous TV shows/films/radio plays.

About the lesson

I’m very much led by the actor I’m working with at the time, bringing out their strengths and strongest performance. I create a very safe environment allowing an actor to feel vulnerable to explore and play with a role. I always aim for an actor to leave me feeling confident, inspired and empowered.
