About Basel
Hi, I’m Basel — a Physics with Astrophysics BSc graduate from the University of York, a qualified private pilot (PPL) and I work in aerodynamics. My final-year dissertation designed and wind-tunnel evaluated a reconnaissance aircraft for Mars, so I specialise in making fluids, forces and energy concepts rigid. In lessons I connect exam topics to aviation and engineering: lift/drag in climbs and turns, vectors for navigation, power and efficiency, circuits as cockpit systems, and data from wind-tunnel tests. I’m calm, organised and exam-focused: concise recap notes after each session, targeted past-paper practice, and clear mark-scheme methods. I teach GCSE & A-Level Physics (AQA/OCR/Edexcel) online from High Wycombe. Message me with your exam board and goal and I’ll map a plan to get you there.

I make Physics click by tying problems to real aviation: forces in a turn, vectors for navigation, lift/drag from first principles, circuits as cockpit systems… so abstract ideas become memorable and exam-ready. I teach: GCSE & A-Level Physics (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) — plus Maths for Physics, Astrophysics, and Aerodynamics/Fluids.
