About Donna
Retired RN has been playing piano since 5 yo, guitar since 13. I am a singer/songwriter and enjoy teaching. If you enjoy classics, country/folk music we will be a good fit. One string student of mine became first chair in her high school and entertained for the senior prom. I've taught many students through the years. It's very enjoyable.

My method depends on my student and their goals. If they want to play FAST and are not concerned with reading music, I will teach them a series of chord progressions to play rhythm allowing them to sing along, or play backup in a band/ensemble. If they want to go ALL THE WAY, I will teach note, reading music and start with rote, also by ear. The choice is the students. Younger inexperienced students get a good smattering to prepare the way, giving them a good foundation to build on.

Details
Pay is cash upfront. Cancellation fee is half the cost of the lesson if cancelled before 24 hours. For webcam services, I will take a check sent the first time one week in advance, so I can cash it prior to the lesson.
