About Nidia

Music industry studies at Belmont University taught me how to break down the hardest parts of playing into manageable pieces for you. You likely know the feeling of hitting a wall during a long break from the instrument. That frustration is exactly where I find the most joy in helping others.

Tuning and maintenance are just as vital as mastering those tricky chord transitions or fingerpicking patterns. I handle everything from reading tabs and sheet music to complex blues progressions for those ready to move forward. My method keeps the vocabulary plain until the concept clicks in your head. I promise to keep things simple while we build your skills together.

Sometimes I find the technical names of chords can actually get in the way of the music. I prefer to show you the shape and the feel before we ever worry about the labels.

7.0 is the specific rhythm count I use to ensure your timing stays steady during practice. My background in the music industry influences how I explain these techniques to students of all levels.

We will use the approach I perfected during my years in Nashville. I constantly check your understanding in small ways throughout our time together.

This avoids the stress of testing at the end of the hour. We will keep the energy high and the focus on your playing. It is just about getting the sound right.
