About Josh

At 30 years old, I have 11 years of industry experience under my belt that I would like to impart onto you. I've photographed for the likes of Gucci and Adidas; I've shot portraits of Tommy Hilfiger and Laura Dern; and I've made pictures on assignment for The NYT– experiences that have granted me insight and advice that I would like to share. Want to learn how analog film photography works? Want to know how to get the attention of magazines and newspapers? Want to understand the basics of your digital camera, or the industry? I'm an open book. Let's make your photography dreams happen!

About the lesson

- My 1-on-1 lessons are custom structured to help you achieve your goals
- Whether you're curious about equipment, needing advice on making career moves, or interested in insight from the industry, I'm a wealth of knowledge with the patience to guide you
- I've studied under famous photographers like Ryan McGinley (named the Most Important Photographer in America by GQ) and Justine Kurland, whose teaching methods and guidance I plan to impart onto you
- My lessons are for everyone: the enthusiast, the hobbyist, the amateur, the professional, the semi-pro, and the simply curious
- Even if you haven't picked up a camera, you're eligible to learn from me- we can go step-by-step through the photography process
