About Gunjan
I believe in effective goal-setting, clear communication with the student as well as their parent. I am very flexible and adaptable with my approach. I teach by setting clear objectives for my students while giving them clear directives on how to improve. Goals are an important part setting and measuring challenges both for me and my students. Instead of waiting to test students' knowledge in a test, I check for comprehension during each lesson which allows me to answer the student's questions and provide a deeper understanding of the topic. I believe in timely feedback that is detailed and constructive. I try to identify the student's individual learning needs and creating a lesson plan that caters to their academic style. I teach while creating an environment of acceptance by encouraging creativity, freedom of thought and questions in the classroom. I am prepared for every possible scenario that a student might face. I am someone who is reflective of their own strengths, weaknesses and characteristics as a teacher and encourage the same thing in my students. I try to promote a love for learning in my students.
