About Travon
I am Marine Corps Vet with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with specialization in Biochemistry and a Masters of Business Administration. I spent 5 years working in a mind-set and behavior course teaching study techniques and habits for information retention and study habits. During that time I was a private math and science tutor. I also spent 3 years as a teaching assistant and 2 years doing undergraduate research. After completing my BS, I began working for one of the largest chemical companies in the world.

My approach to teaching is start with the simple basics of every problem and build up. This has become very effective because it allows each student, regardless of skill level, to create a strong foundation while building up the confidence in the subject matter. I like to walk through each step of the process. After a few problems, I’ll walk through the beginning steps and let the student walk me through the final steps then flip flop. Finally, I like to have the student walk me through each step in their own while reassuring them if the correct steps they are taking.
