About Sebastian
Having recently completed my PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Bath studying the transdifferentiation of liver cells to pancreatic beta cell for the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes and am adding to my teaching experience through online tutoring.
Having been employed in the role of Teaching Assistant for the last four years for undergraduate teaching (with marking) I am excited to continue in a teaching role as this is a part of my PhD experience I found particularly rewarding.

My one hour sessions will be very much driven by the needs of the student and adapted to suit their preferences. I use a dynamic and flexible approach that can be amended to suit exam or coursework oriented learning. This may involves reviewing exam questions, knowledge testing or seeking to explore an area in detail to promote learning through a deeper appreciation of this fascinating area of science!
My lessons are directed at GCSE an A level students studying biology or closely associated subjects.
