About Grace
Hi, I’m a biochemistry student at Durham University. When I’m not studying, you’ll usually find me in the dance room practising ballroom or Latin. I want to teach because I truly love my subject, and I feel it often gets a bad reputation. Science isn’t just facts to memorise, and exam season can make it feel that way. My goal is to help you understand the content properly, enjoy learning it, and feel confident and curious along the way.

As a science tutor, my aim is to help students enjoy learning again, especially when exam pressure can make science feel like a list of facts to memorise. I focus on building real understanding, explaining the ‘why’ behind every concept, so ideas connect and make more sense. When students understand the content, they remember it, feel more confident, and can tackle unfamiliar questions without panic. I use clear explanations, relatable examples, and plenty of patience, and I make sure every question is welcome. I truly don’t believe in silly questions.
