Hi, I’m Katherine, a second-year medical student at the University of Nottingham. With over three years of experience as both an in-person and online tutor, I’m passionate about helping students achieve their goals. I believe the first step to effective learning is understanding where my students are starting from. That’s why I begin by assessing their baseline knowledge—whether through a benchmark test or a conversation about their current understanding and challenges. This helps me tailor our sessions to their unique needs and learning style. To reinforce what we’ve covered in our sessions, I often find that adding carefully chosen homework tasks can be helpful.
