About Justine
My passion for biology started with curiosity about living organisms, ecosystems, and how cells function at a microscopic level. I completed a B.Sc in Biology and an M.Sc in Molecular Biology to deepen my understanding. Over 8 years of teaching, I have worked with students at different levels, creating lessons that clarify complex ideas while encouraging curiosity, observation, and critical thinking.
I focus on approachable, interactive teaching. By using diagrams, real-world examples, experiments, and structured discussions, I help learners connect theoretical knowledge with practical understanding. I encourage questions, independent exploration, and active problem-solving, ensuring that students gain both knowledge and confidence.
Beyond teaching, I keep updated with research in genetics, ecology, and cell biology, bringing modern examples to the classroom. Witnessing students transform from hesitant learners into confident, curious thinkers who can reason through complex biological problems is immensely rewarding. My goal is to inspire analytical thinking, curiosity, and a lifelong appreciation for life sciences in every student I teach.

Biology becomes more engaging when students can see connections between living systems, their environment, and practical examples from nature. My lessons cover cell biology, genetics, physiology, ecology, evolution, and microbiology. I use simple language, illustrations, and real-world examples to make concepts easy to grasp. Each session is designed to encourage questioning, observation, and analytical thinking, allowing students to connect theory with experiments and daily life, strengthening understanding and retention.
Lessons are customised according to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on basic structures, life cycles, and fundamental concepts, while intermediate students explore molecular biology, genetics, and organism interactions. Advanced learners delve into experimental design, scientific reasoning, and applied biology. By integrating exercises, diagrams, and discussion, students steadily develop knowledge, curiosity, and confidence in scientific thinking, preparing them for exams and research projects.
Studying biology nurtures observation, reasoning, and appreciation of life processes. Students develop analytical and critical thinking skills, understanding the interdependence of organisms and environments.
