About Mia
I am currently a 4th-year medical student at King's College London. I previously attended Headington School in Oxford, where I achieved 3 A*s at A-level in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I chose to tutor because I believe that a personalized teaching approach can empower students to reach their full potential and succeed. From my experience in medical school, I understand the importance of putting your best foot forward, and that’s the mindset I bring to my tutoring.
Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about sports and music, and I enjoy spending time with friends in my free time.

In the introductory session, I meet with the student to assess their specific needs—whether they require a deeper understanding of a particular topic, assistance with exam questions, or other support. We also identify their learning style, and I begin teaching the core subject right away.
My approach focuses on ensuring the student thoroughly grasps the material by guiding them through key learning objectives. I encourage them to think critically, allowing them to draw their own conclusions and develop a deeper understanding, rather than just memorizing facts. This helps them not only recognize and interpret the material but also apply their knowledge more effectively.
Additionally, I review exam questions with the student, providing strategies on how to structure their answers to maximize their marks.
