About Selene
I have 8 years of experience teaching Biology to students preparing for examinations and future science-related pathways. I earned a B.Sc in Human Biology, which provided strong grounding in physiology, genetics, and modern biological understanding. This academic background allows me to teach biology with clarity and real-world relevance.
My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and focused on understanding rather than memorisation. I enjoy helping learners break down complex biological processes into simple connected explanations. I create an environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and progress steadily.

Biology becomes far more understandable when students learn to connect life processes into one coherent system rather than isolated topics. In my lessons, I guide learners through cells, genetics, human physiology, ecology, and evolution using structured explanation and supportive discussion. I focus on helping students understand how biological systems work together, so learning feels meaningful and easier to remember. Each session builds confidence through calm guidance and steady practice.
Lessons are personalised to each learner’s level. Beginners develop foundations in cell structure, basic organ systems, and essential biological vocabulary. Intermediate learners strengthen understanding of DNA processes, inheritance, respiration, and exam-style written answers.
