About Joel
My fascination with Biology began through an interest in how living organisms grow, adapt, and interact with their environments. After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, I earned a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology. During the last 7 years, I have worked with students to build strong scientific foundations.
I believe learning becomes more effective when students feel encouraged and understood. My teaching approach emphasises patience, clear communication, and adapting lessons to suit individual learning needs. Building confidence is an important part of every lesson I teach.
Outside education, I enjoy reading about advances in genetics, environmental science, and medical research. These interests help me bring fresh examples and current knowledge into lessons. Watching students develop confidence and enthusiasm for Biology is one of the most fulfilling parts of my career.

My Biology lessons help students understand the complexity of life through organised and engaging learning experiences. We study genetics, cell biology, ecology, human anatomy, evolution, and physiology using simple explanations and meaningful examples. I focus on helping learners understand relationships between concepts rather than memorising isolated facts.
Lessons are adapted to fit each student's learning style and academic objectives. Through diagrams, discussions, practice questions, and interactive activities, students strengthen both scientific knowledge and critical-thinking skills. Each session is designed to encourage curiosity and deeper understanding.
I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported throughout their studies. As confidence develops, learners become more capable of analysing information and solving scientific problems independently. My goal is to help students enjoy Biology while achieving strong academic results.
