About Umra
Hi, I am Umra. I am currently pursuing my graduation in Zoology and have a strong interest in Biology and the natural sciences. I also enjoy teaching basic Math and English, especially to younger students.
I like making concepts simple and easy to understand by using everyday examples and explaining topics step by step. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to understand concepts rather than simply memorize them.
I look forward to helping students learn with greater clarity and confidence.

I believe students understand Biology better when difficult scientific concepts are connected to simple, familiar examples. I first explain the basic idea in an easy way and then introduce the correct scientific terms.
For example, while teaching the cell, I might compare it to a stationery box. The box represents the cell, while the different items inside it represent the cell organelles, with each organelle having its own role. This helps students visualize the structure of a cell before learning the detailed functions of each organelle.
For Maths, I also use everyday examples. For example, while teaching fractions, I might say: I bought 8 chocolates and gave you 1 chocolate. You received 1 chocolate out of the total 8 chocolates, so the fraction is 1/8.
I then use questions, discussion, and practice to check whether the student has understood the concept. My goal is to make learning simple, relatable, and concept-based rather than based only on memorization.
