About Lyra
I hold a B.Sc in Life Sciences and an M.Sc in Human Biology, with 9 years of experience teaching biology to students at various academic levels. My academic background strengthened my interest in how biological systems maintain balance and adapt to change, which shapes my teaching approach. My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive. I focus on identifying conceptual gaps and addressing them through clear explanations and visual support. I encourage curiosity and ensure students feel safe asking questions and exploring ideas. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with biology through scientific reading, health studies, and environmental topics. Teaching biology is deeply fulfilling because it helps students understand life more clearly. Supporting learners as they develop curiosity, confidence, and scientific thinking is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
