About Journey
My fascination with biology began with curiosity about plants, animals, and how cells function, which led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology. Over the past 7 years, I have guided learners through diverse topics, helping them build conceptual understanding and practical problem-solving skills in genetics, ecology, and cellular processes. My approach emphasises patience, clarity, and hands-on learning, ensuring students feel supported while exploring complex ideas.
I focus on connecting abstract concepts to observable phenomena, using diagrams, examples, and interactive discussions to enhance engagement. Lessons are structured to challenge students while giving them the tools and confidence to analyse biological systems, conduct experiments, and interpret results independently.
Outside teaching, I explore research articles, conservation projects, and laboratory techniques to stay current and enrich my lessons. Watching students transition from uncertainty to confident understanding and appreciation of life sciences is deeply rewarding. My goal is to inspire curiosity, strengthen analytical skills, and nurture a lifelong interest in biology, ensuring learners feel both capable and motivated to explore the living world.

Biology becomes engaging when learners can connect complex ideas to living systems they see every day. My lessons cover cellular biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, and physiology, blending conceptual understanding with practical examples. I use diagrams, models, experiments, and interactive discussions to help students visualise processes and understand relationships within ecosystems, cells, and organisms. Each class is designed to develop both academic skills and a deep curiosity about life sciences.
I tailor lessons to different proficiency levels. Beginners focus on core concepts, vocabulary, and simplified diagrams to build foundational knowledge. Intermediate learners explore gene expression, ecological interactions, and physiological mechanisms through exercises and case studies. Advanced students engage with experimental design, data interpretation, and analytical reasoning, fostering critical thinking. Every session incorporates feedback, practice questions, and discussion to ensure progressive comprehension and retention.
