About Rena
I'm your average gal who loves the feeling of solving any good math or chemistry problem. When I'm not doing school I'm usually drawing or playing the guitar. My classes are currently focused on math, specifically linear algebra and calculus.
I'm currently teaching Calculus for UofT students and Pre-calculus and trigonometry for CGEP students in Montreal.
As someone who wants to know how you succeed, I look forward to working with you.

Hey! My name is Réna and I currently have a 4.0 GPA in biomedical computing. I excel at calculus, linear algebra and chemistry, but trust me, I didn't always. Throughout elementary and high school, I definitely struggled. I'm here now to help people who were in the same place as me -struggling not only to know how to do the material, but how to thoroughly understand it and pick up more effective studying habits while at it.
I mostly teach high school and university/college students, but if you're in elementary school and looking for math help, I'm happy to join you for the ride.
I'm going to be working alongside you, trying to find solutions to the problems you're given in school before adjusting to how you study best and walking through the problems with you. I can make myself available last minute for the urgent, day-before-the-exam questions you might have.

Réna makes even the most difficult concepts sound simple, and is extremely patient and understanding. I strongly recommend contacting her for anyone struggling with math at any level, or even just for someone wanting to better understand concepts. I’ve never been confident in math, nor has it ever been my strong suit, but since having Réna as my tutor, it is a subject I look forward to!
I have worked with Rena for the past two months, and my comfort with calculus has significantly improved! She is very flexible with time, can easily answer questions and is always willing to re-explain concepts you may find challenging. Great tutor!
