About Artemo
I’m a third-year Biomedical Engineering student at Binghamton University with a strong background in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and other STEM subjects. My concentration is in biomedical devices and instrumentation, and my goal is to work in industry with biomedical devices. I have worked with students at different age levels through tutoring and my experience as an undergraduate course assistant.
I’m patient, approachable, and willing to explain something as many ways as needed. My goal is to make students feel comfortable asking questions and to help them build confidence.

My approach to tutoring is pretty simple, I want students to understand what they’re doing instead of just memorizing answers. I like to break difficult topics into smaller pieces, explain them in different ways when needed, and then work through practice problems together. I think practice problems are one of the best ways to learn, so I try to make them a big part of my lessons.
A typical lesson starts with figuring out what the student is struggling with. We’ll review the topic, work through a few examples together, and then I’ll have the student try some problems on their own while I help when needed. I want students to leave the lesson feeling like they can approach similar problems themselves.
What sets me apart is that I’m a student too. As a Biomedical Engineering student, I work with biology, chemistry, physics, math, and engineering regularly, so I understand how frustrating these subjects can be. I also have experience tutoring and working as an undergraduate course assistant for engineering students.
I mainly work with middle school, high school, and introductory college students in STEM subjects, including biology, chemistry, and calculus
