About Brooke

My name is Brooke, and I’m a Biomedical Science graduate with a special interest in haematology. I currently work in pathology services, specialising in haematological malignancies and cancer diagnosis, where biology and chemistry are used every day to make real, life-changing decisions.

I want to teach because I know how powerful these subjects can be when they’re truly understood. Biology and chemistry aren’t just exams to pass — they’re the foundation of medicine, research, and diagnostics that save lives. I aim to inspire students to see beyond memorisation, helping them understand how concepts connect and why they matter in the real world.

My teaching focuses on building confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking. I break down complex ideas into clear, logical steps and relate them to real clinical and scientific examples from my own experience. I want students to feel capable, motivated, and excited about learning — whether they’re aiming for top grades or considering a future in science or healthcare.
