About Atifa

I am a recent Masters of Research Graduate in Biomedical Sciences, specialising in Molecular Mechanisms of Cancer with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Science. I took chemistry, biology and mathematics for A Levels. I was initially planning on applying for Medicine but changed my mind due to my love for the research-based side of medical sciences. I understand how stressful and long exam preparation and content can be. As a student who has experienced all of this first-hand, I think it is essential to be able to approach this aspect in a way that is effective and enjoyable. University applications can seem very intimidating, from finding universities that fit you best to writing a personal statement, however, it is something I also enjoy and would love for you to be able to do the same. With the right support and guidance, the process of getting to university is actually quite enjoyable. I have two years of tutoring experience and have worked in a school to help students get the best results they desire! In my free time, I love to write and meddle with the creative sides of things such as baking or painting as I find it is a great way to relieve stress as a science student.

About the lesson

My lessons are always tailored to the individual student as I believe no student studies in the exact same way and this is from my personal experience too! Lessons may vary from going through practice questions together, creating revision tools, having conversations about what students may already know and always making sure that we can solidify our knowledge together!
