About Muhammad
I am an Economics & Finance graduate with an A grade in A-Level Maths and over 3 years of experience tutoring GCSE, A-Level and 11+ Maths. I have taught around 30 students, helping them build confidence, strengthen their mathematical understanding and improve their grades. I am passionate about making Maths accessible and enjoyable for every student and pride myself on creating a supportive learning environment where students can reach their full potential. I currently offer online one-to-one tuition. First lesson is always free!

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual needs, learning style, and goals. Before we begin, I identify the student’s strengths, areas for improvement, and the exam board they are studying, allowing me to create a personalised learning plan.
During lessons, I explain mathematical concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand way before working through guided examples together. Once a topic is understood, students complete increasingly challenging questions to build confidence and develop problem-solving skills. I regularly use exam-style and past paper questions so students become familiar with the wording, techniques, and mark schemes used in GCSE, A-Level, and 11+ examinations.
I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. Every lesson is interactive, ensuring students fully understand the topic rather than simply memorising methods.
To reinforce learning, I set personalised homework after each lesson, which is carefully marked with detailed feedback. We begin the following lesson by reviewing any mistakes to ensure misconceptions are addressed before moving on. I also provide revision strategies, exam techniques, and time-management tips to help students maximise their marks in assessments.
My aim is not only to improve grades but also to build confidence, independence, and a genuine understanding of mathematics, enabling students to succeed both in exams and beyond.
