About Zoltan

My name is Zoltan. I have spent over 30 years in martial arts, it has kept me in a great shape during my competitive years and in general throughout my whole life. I am a graduate Level 3 sports coach, Level 3 Personal Trainer, Level 3 Sports and Development officer and also hold a Black Belt in Kickboxing. I have had over 115 fights in Boxing, K1 and MMA, and have already coached up champions in boxing. I like to help people setting goals and achieving them, help them lose weight, get fit, get strong and get motivated.

About the lesson

I have a carefully worked out Boxing programme, and it has helped me turning absolute amateurs into boxing champions! Deadly! Been training with Zoltan now for the past 2 months in both 1-1 and group sessions. Best coaching I have received due to his many years of experience and the way Zoltan teaches is great as he makes sure you get the correct technique down before moving on. The lessons are both fun and challenging as Zoltan has a friendly attitude but pushes you too your limits physically. Couldn't recommend more!

Deadly! At our first talk on the phone I was instantly less nervous about starting my training. I have only done a few lessons and can feel myself largely improving already. He is very patient and also has lost of experience in training others and fighting himself. Highly recommend.

Deadly! From the first encounter with Zoltan he put me at ease straight away, very patient and understanding with my development.
Been training with him now for three months, in that time he's responsible for my skill level to increase dramatically. He knows the sport inside outside thus you can't not improve if you listen what he got to say and apply it to your game.
As a side note he tries to get to know you as person, which as lead me to regard him not only as my coach but as a friend.

Deadly! I was very happy with our session. He taught me a lot of drills I can work on and a breakdown of his fight system. We covered an overview of warming up correctly (which I have been lazy with in the past), various footwork drills and positoning and a numbered system of punches. All new stuff I can work on and drill out. Of course I have to put in the work but if your coach helps you get comprehension (which he does). You are able to improve faster if you put in the work (which I will). Overall I am very happy and look forward to future sessions.

1) What age did you start playing sport? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.
I started karate at the age of 6, my cusin got me into it.
2) What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you'd still like to discover?
Apart from combat sports I really enjoy running, long distance or prints. Also hiking and some of the ball games like football, handball, tennis, volleyball etc
3) What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue your sport?
To see my students progress and achieve their goals is a very rewarding experience
4) Do you have a sporting achievement that you're particularly proud of?
I have a Black Belt in kickboxing

I have competed 120 times in various combat sports for amateur and semi-pro English and British titles in the past in boxing, kickboxing and k1. Achieved British semi-pro Boxing Light-Heavyweight title, kickboxing midlands champion.
5) How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?
They help me realize that achieving goals and overcoming big challenges is the way of life in general

I would have a jog with Evander Holyfield

I would ask him where he got all the courage and will power from when he fought the best of the best in the world?

I keep making classes challenging and entertaining enough
