Hello, I’m Danilo.
I am a Brazilian Portuguese conversation tutor for foreigners, and I speak English and Spanish. I have a degree in Portuguese and English Languages.

My methodology:
My classes are mainly focused on conversation, listening comprehension, and real communication in Brazilian Portuguese.
The focus of the lessons is to develop fluency, confidence, and natural communication skills through conversation. For this reason, I do not work with extensive writing exercises or overly theoretical lessons.
I create a comfortable environment where you can express yourself freely, make mistakes without fear, and develop fluency gradually and naturally.
Each lesson is personalized according to your level, interests, and communication style. Some students prefer free-flowing conversations, while others prefer more guidance and structured conversation practice — both are welcome.
In the trial lesson, we will talk about:
• Your goals
• Your current level of Portuguese
• Your strengths and areas for improvement
• Your interests and hobbies
• Your learning style
Based on this, we will develop a personalized practice plan for you.
What you will receive after the trial lesson in your Google Drive folder:
• Learning tips
• Personalized practice plan
• Lesson notes containing:
• Corrections on pronunciation, intonation, and grammar
• New vocabulary, phrases, slang, and expressions
• Materials used in the lesson
• Optional homework practice
Types of lessons:
Free conversation practice
Intermediate to advanced levels (B1–C2)
Free-flowing conversation without a fixed topic. Ideal for students who want to speak naturally, develop fluency, and practice real communication with only light corrections and support during the conversation.
Guided conversation practice
Intermediate to advanced levels (B1–C2)
Conversation with a light structure and a chosen topic. Ideal for students who want to practice speaking with more guidance, personalized feedback, and optional simplified grammar explanations.
The topic can be chosen by either the student or the tutor.
These lessons can also work for beginners (A1–A2) who want to develop speaking and communication skills from the beginning in a more natural and practical way.
However, they are not ideal for students who are looking for extremely structured lessons, lots of visual materials, or a heavy focus on theoretical grammar.
After each lesson, you may receive in your Google Drive folder:
• Pronunciation, intonation, and grammar corrections
• New vocabulary, phrases, slang, and expressions
• Materials used in the lesson
• Optional homework practice
Learning a language is a gradual process, and my goal is to help you feel increasingly comfortable and confident speaking Brazilian Portuguese.
