About Aline
Olá! I'm Aline, a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker who has called England home for over a decade. I spent years living and working in London, which means I genuinely understand the pace and curiosity of the people I teach.
My background is a little unconventional for a language teacher: I studied Economics, went on to a postgraduate degree in Business Law, and I'm currently exploring digital marketing. This breadth means our conversations are never thin. We can go from discussing your favourite wine to a marketing brief to a neighbourhood in São Paulo, all in the same lesson.
Over nearly ten years of teaching, I have worked with people from all over the world. Different backgrounds, different reasons for learning, different rhythms. What they tend to share is a love of good conversation. That is what I offer: a space where Portuguese feels natural, engaging, and most of all: enjoyable.

My sessions are calm, unhurried, and built around you. There is no pressure to perform or rush through grammar drills. Instead, we talk about your world, your interests, your questions and the language grows from there.
I hold a CELTA certification and draw on nearly a decade of experience, but what you'll notice most is simply that the conversation is good. Students often tell me they forget they're even having a lesson.

Deadly! Method of teaching is great, Aline takes the time to provide understanding of the subject.
