About Courtney

I've always loved history, especially the stories and people behind the facts. I'm particularly interested in ancient civilizations, mythology, and how people's beliefs shaped the way they lived and understood the world.

I want to teach because I enjoy learning and sharing what I know with others. History doesn't have to be a boring list of dates and names; there's so much more to it when you understand the people and events behind the stories.

I'd love to help others develop an interest in history, whether they're studying for school or just curious about the past.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to your needs, interests, goals and learning style. Whether you're studying for exams, catching up on assignments, or just generally interested in History, I aim to help people explore the past in a fun and engaging way.

From ancient civilisations to world-changing revolutions, influential figures (good and bad) and the things people have gone to war for. For those who have an interest the role mythology played in shaping ancient cultures, there's plenty to explore. We'll look at how myths and legends influenced religion, politics, everyday life, and the way ancient people understood their world.

My approach focuses on understanding the why behind historical events, not just memorising dates and names. By exploring the people, beliefs, and ideas behind the past.
